Roof Measurement Guide

What we do

Roof Measurement Guide covers one market and covers it deep: the providers and tools that turn addresses into measurements, for roofing contractors, insurance adjusters, IA firms, and carrier desks. Reviews, rankings, pricing guides, and format explainers all run on the same published methodology.

The editorial stance is simple: numbers over adjectives. Every price is sourced and dated. Every accuracy figure is labeled as the provider's own claim, weighed against public user reviews rather than presented as our finding. Every ranking follows the fixed-weight rubric published on the How We Score page, and when a provider's published figures change, the score moves with them.

What we don't do

Rankings are computed from the published rubric and change only when the underlying data changes. Sponsored content, if we ever run it, will be labeled as such in the headline, not disclosed in a footnote.

We also don't do adjectives-as-analysis. If a claim on this site can't be traced to a source, a date, or our own measurement, flag it and we'll fix it or cut it.

Corrections and contact

Errors get fixed fast and noted. Providers: if a price, spec, or policy we cite is out of date, write with the current published source and we'll update within the week. Everyone else: tips, corrections, and coverage requests all land at the same desk.
